About me

I am a PhD candidate at Leiden Observatory, working under the supervision of Prof. dr. Ignas Snellen. Currently, my research is focused on characterising the atmospheres of directly-imaged exoplanets and brown dwarfs.

To study these low-mass objects, I primarily make use of high-resolution spectroscopic observations from ground-based facilities (e.g. CRIRES+ at VLT). I try to understand how the observed spectra are affected by the physical and chemical processes taking place in the atmospheres. Additionally, I am interested in developing retrieval techniques to constrain the atmospheric properties.

If you would like to contact me, feel free to send an e-mail to: regt@strw.leidenuniv.nl
